Rural Revitalization

The Rural Revitalization project integrates philanthropic services with rural development by leveraging the organizational strengths of the China Council of Lions Clubs. In alignment with national strategies, we mobilize our members to provide essential living and medical assistance to vulnerable populations, including low-income households and persons with severe disabilities. We offer home visits, nursing care, and material aid to elderly individuals, minors, and persons with disabilities who lack self-care capacity within rural families. Additionally, through tailored local solutions, we implement initiatives to enhance village appearance and improve the rural living environment.

Launched in 2019 in response to the Belt and Road Initiative, "BRI: Lions Free Lunch" is an international humanitarian project initiated by the China Council of Lions Clubs. It aims to provide free breakfast and lunch to students and teachers in impoverished African communities, helping children combat hunger and remain in school. By encouraging students to improve their school and neighborhood environments under teacher guidance, the project empowers personal growth as a catalyst for social change. This initiative promotes people-to-people connectivity and international exchange through charitable services, contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goal of "Zero Hunger by 2030."

Peace Initiatives

To advocate for the concept of peace throughout society, we strive to plant the seeds of peace in the hearts of both able-bodied children and children with disabilities, guiding them to express their ideals of peace and beautiful aspirations. While enriching their cultural lives and uncovering their artistic talents, we provide a platform for children who love painting to showcase their abilities.

In collaboration with the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, the China Council of Lions Clubs conducts the "National World Peace Poster Collection Activity for Children" nationwide.

With the approval of the China Disabled Persons' Federation (CDPF), the China Association of the Blind, China Association of the Deaf, China Association of the Physically Disabled, China Association of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities and Their Relatives, China Association of Persons with Psychiatric Disabilities and Their Relatives, and the China Council of Lions Clubs jointly organize the "National Peace Poster Collection Activity for Children with Disabilities" nationwide.
