President of Lions Clubs International Visits China
From March 31 to April 3, 2026, A.P. Singh, President of Lions Clubs International, and Past International Director Sangeeta Jatia visited China. You Liang, President of the China Council of Lions Clubs (CCLC), met with the delegation and attended related events.

During the visit, Singh and his delegation took part in a series of service activities. On April 2, which marked the 19th World Autism Awareness Day, the delegation visited the Beijing Ancient Architecture Museum and joined children with autism and intellectual disabilities in a bean-planting activity. With China’s fine traditional farming culture as a medium, the activity conveyed the values of equality, inclusion and friendship through simple yet meaningful interactions. It demonstrated respect and care for every life and served as a warm bridge for people-to-people exchanges in the field of public welfare. On the same day, the delegation also attended the “Touching the Temple of Heaven” disability support service activity.
The CCLC will take the visit as a new starting point to further deepen its partnership with Lions Clubs International. It will continue to work in areas such as services for persons with disabilities, vision health and international humanitarian assistance, give full play to its strengths with Chinese characteristics, and build bridges for mutual learning among civilizations and closer people-to-people ties through public welfare efforts.
